Hello Mother

This has been a rather wild day, we have been getting ready for a meeting tomorrow and we have been making these intense goal key indicator goal sheets. Schnikees.

The week was good! More flip flops, and we had our awesome investigator come to church, Sister R! When we taught her and her husband this week who is a member, we shared about the Book of Mormon and invited her to read it and pray about it.  When we came back we asked her and she said "alam ko na totoo ang aklat ni mormon." (I know the BOM is true)  Then we invited her to come to church and she said "sige, ayos lang sa akin" or, thats ok with me! Ha ha I am greatful for prepared people!

We had this other man we taught this week who liked to talk a lot.  He is a leader for jay dub and told us we needed to read the bible and understand it better.  It showed me how much confusion is in the world about the bible.  He was hooked on the fact that there is no word celestial or terestial in the tagalog version of the bible.  We told him it was only in the English version, but he was talking so fast he didn't hear us.

We have also found a family to teach! Yeah! A mom and a dad and their two kids.  The two kids have been investigators of the previous Elders here, and we went to go and talk to their parents and they warmly let us in and have accepted to be baptized if God answers their prayers!

Tomorrow, Nov 1, is the day of the dead! Where everyone goes to the cemetary and cleans up and stays there with their family who has died. No Halloween.  An investigator asked what we do on Nov 1.  I told them we just have Halloween.  They asked if we go to the graves too, and I said no, that all the kids dress up and go door-to-door asking for candy. She got a confused look on her face.

We got up at 4:30 this morning to play basketball, and tomorrow we're getting up a 3 to go to Angeles!

By the way, I saw a monkey this week and a cool hawk thing chained up, and this other long beaked, feathery friend.

Sure love yall! And I'll talk to y'all in another week!
